About Memphis Mesh

How Meshtastic Works
Meshtastic devices use LoRa radios to relay messages node-to-node. The more nodes in good locations, the stronger the network. Height, antenna quality, and placement matter a lot.
Channels & Basics
Think of channels like “rooms.” Your device must match the same channel settings to talk to others. Keep the main local channel simple, and use extra channels for special topics or tests.
Good Mesh Etiquette
Be respectful, keep test spam minimal, identify your node with a friendly name, and share helpful details when troubleshooting (device model, firmware, antenna, height, location area).
